Miss - Artemis Aurora du Clos des Castagniers

We had to wait until our second litter to get our lovely Miss (CH Moon Walker from Misstoff X CH Astrellita Gold Dust). She is named for her famous father who needs no introduction having won Crufts three times and been top smooth collie in Britain many years running.

From her very first outing in "baby" class at a regional collie club show where she got "Very Promising", she has had a very successful show career to date and has already won several CACS and CACIBS and BOBs.

At agility, she was promoted out of puppy school very early, because "she would soon get bored with puppy school and needed a challenge." In her first adult class, she jumped eight obstacles arranged in a double star shape with no mistakes. Unfortunately, we are not fast enough to compete, so we do agility for fun - the dogs love it.

Miss is more discreet than her mother - she comes to us and delicately nuzzles our arm for a bit of love. With such an outgoing mother, she takes second place, but they play as equals - Sadie never crushes her daughter and pretends to fall over to let Miss be boss during play. It's great fun to watch them play boxing and running rings. There has never been any anger between them and Sadie cherishes and looks after Miss as she would a small puppy. She licks any scratches she has and dries her after the rain.

We are looking forward to a litter from Miss, hopefully in the autumn.
